A high-rise building fire in Bangladesh's capital has killed at least 19 people

A fire broke out at the FR Tower in the Banani district of Dakabanani at around 1pm local time. Video circulating on social media showed a raging fire inside the building and thick smoke outside; Witnesses at the scene said at least six people jumped from the top of the burning building to escape, and many others tried to climb down the window of the building to escape the smoke.
