At about 2:50 PM yesterday (27th), an explosion occurred at Jiangsu Tianjiayi Chemical Co., LTD., located in Chenjiagang Chemical Park, Xiangshui County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. As of 7 am today, the death toll had risen to 44, with 32 in critical condition and 58 seriously injured. On the morning of the 22nd, the main fire points of the plant have been basically extinguished, and fire rescue workers are cleaning up the residual fire and carrying out in-depth search and rescue work.
